Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission that can keep a change gear ratio constant without using a driving force of an adjustment driving source.SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission comprises an input part, an output shaft, lever crank mechanisms, and one-way rotation prevention mechanisms. The lever crank mechanisms comprise an adjustment driving source 14, rotation radius adjustment mechanisms, and connecting rods. The rotation radius adjustment mechanisms comprise cam parts, rotation parts, and transmission parts to which a driving force of the adjustment driving source is transmitted via a differential mechanism 8. The differential mechanism 8 comprises a second coupling body Ra-Rc connected to a cam shaft 51, a sun gear Sa (a first single element) to which the driving force of the adjustment driving source 14 is transmitted, and a carrier Cc (an eighth single element) connected to pinions 70. The differential mechanism 8 is configured so that when the second coupling body Ra-Rc and the carrier Cc (the eighth single element) rotate in the same direction at the same speed, the rotational speed of the sun gear Sa (the first single element) is "0."
