Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission that can prevent a driving force from being unintentionally transmitted to an output shaft by a control error.SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission comprises an input part, an output shaft, lever crank mechanisms, and one-way rotation prevention mechanisms. The lever crank mechanisms comprise an adjustment driving source 14, rotation radius adjustment mechanisms, and connecting rods. The rotation radius adjustment mechanisms comprise cam parts, rotation parts, and transmission parts to which a driving force of the adjustment driving source is transmitted via a differential mechanism 8. The differential mechanism 8 is composed of three planetary gear mechanisms, and is provided with a brake B1 that can be freely switched between a fixed state that fixes a sun gear Sb (a fourth single element) to prevent rotation and an open state that releases the fixation.
