Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission in which the falling-off of a rotating part of a rotation radius adjustment mechanism and a connecting rod bearing from the connecting rod can be prevented.SOLUTION: A lever crank mechanism 20 of a continuously variable transmission 1 converts the rotation motion of a radius-of-gyration adjustment mechanism 4 which can adjust a radius of gyration and rotates integrally with an input shaft 2 to the oscillatory motion of an oscillation link 18 which is journaled by an output shaft 3. A connecting rod 15 connecting the radius-of-gyration adjustment mechanism 4 to the oscillation link 18 includes an annular part 15a at one end of the connecting rod 15, the annular part 15a is rotatably externally fit onto the radius-of-gyration adjustment mechanism 4 via a connecting rod bearing 16. The radius-of-gyration adjustment mechanism 4 has a cam disc 5 which rotates integrally with the input part (input shaft) 2, and a rotating disc 6 which is provided with a receiving hole 6a in which the cam disc 5 is inserted, and which rotates with respect to the cam disc 5. The cam disc 5 has an extension part 5b which extends in the radial direction so as to intercept the axial movement of the rotating disc 6.
