Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission capable of controlling a transmission gear ratio and torque transmitted to an output shaft with a high degree of accuracy.SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission includes: a distance sensor 23 that detects a distance x from a section 18e to be detected of an oscillation link 18 pivotally supported by an output shaft in a rotatable manner; and an ECU 24 that calculates a phase θ of the oscillation link 18 based on a value detected by the distance sensor 23 and then calculates a radius of rotation of a rotary disc based on the phase θ.
