Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-node link mechanism type continuously variable transmission capable of allowing an axial length to be shortened while supporting a load applied to a rotary section from a connecting rod in a balanced manner.SOLUTION: A cam disc 5 of a radius-of-rotation adjusting mechanism 4A of a continuously variable transmission 1A includes: a first cam section 5c that pivotally supports a rotary disc 6; and a second cam section 5d that is linked with an end in the axial direction of a rotation center axis P1 of the first cam section 5c and on which a cutout hole 5b is formed. The rotary disc 6 includes: a first rotary section 6c that is pivotally supported by the first cam section 5c; a second rotary section 6d that is linked, at a position corresponding to the second cam section 5d, with an end in the axial direction of the rotation center axis P1 of the first rotary section 6c, and on which an internal tooth 6b is formed; and an outer fitting section 6e that is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the first rotary section 6c and onto which one end of a connecting rod 15 fits in a freely rotatable manner. A bearing 21 is provided between the first cam section 5c and the first rotary section 6c.
