Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission in which occurrence of vibration and noise is suppresses, and a change in an internal clearance of a bearing is small irrespective of a temperature state.SOLUTION: Bearings 22, 24 of a continuously variable transmission 1A are pressure-inserted into a transmission case 21 so as not to produce a clearance between the transmission case 21 and themselves irrespective of a temperature state. Portions of outer rings 22a, 24a or inner rings 22b, 24b of the bearings 22, 24 in contact with rolling elements 22c, 24c are inclined with respect to a bearing center axial line P1 so that a point at which action lines of force transmitted to the rolling elements 22c, 24c from inner faces of the outer rings 22a, 24a or outer faces of the inner rings 22b, 24b, and the bearing center axial line P1 of the bearings 22, 24 cross each other is located more on an outer face side of the transmission case 21 from a center of the bearings 22, 24 in a direction of the bearing center axial line P1 of the bearings 22, 24.
