Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission capable of accurately controlling a torque transmitted to an output shaft.SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission 1 comprises a lever crank mechanism 20 via which a rotating motion of a rotary disc 6 is converted to a swing motion of a swing link 18. A strain sensor 23 detecting a strain amount of a connecting rod 15 is attached to the connecting rod 15. An ECU calculates a torque transmitted to an output shaft 3 on the basis of a value detected by the strain sensor 23.
