Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the warpage of first and second crank members which support an eccentric disc of a continuously variable transmission so as to be adjustable in eccentricity.SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission comprises a plurality of intermediate journal support members 22 which support first journal parts 17a to 17f of a first crank member 17 and second journal parts 18a to 18f of a second crank member 18. Since a plurality of the intermediate journal support member 22 relatively and rotatably abut on axial end faces of a plurality of eccentric discs 21 which are supported to first and second pin parts 17h to 17m, 18h to 18m of the first and second crank members 17, 18, when the first and second crank members 17, 18 are warped by drive reaction forces which are transmitted to the eccentric discs 21 from a connecting rod 27, the intermediate journal support member 22 suppresses an inclination of the eccentric discs 21, and the warpage of the first and second crank members 17, 18 is thereby indirectly suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
