Abstract:
To provide a continuously variable transmission that can move all the power rollers with a single power roller drive device, and further does not cause increase in size.SOLUTION: In a full-toroidal continuously variable transmission, a rod is fixed to a carriage of one of the power rollers and the rod is connected to a power roller drive device via a three-degree-of-freedom rotatable joint. Rods are fixed to carriages of the other power rollers and the rods are connected to linear motion guide mechanisms via the three-degree-of-freedom rotatable joints.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
