Abstract:
PURPOSE:To uniformly correct a contour signal in a wide frequency range, by providing a contour correction circuit and an amplifier having a peak value with a damping characteristic as its peak value with the frequency characteristic of the circuit. CONSTITUTION:A picture quality correction circuit 11 is connected to the output of an on-going contour correction circuit 12. The output of the circuit 12 becomes a waveform having a peak at the 1/2 of the central frequency fD of a delay line DL3. An inversion amplifier 8 is the one to compensate the inversion of the polarity of an output signal at a transistor 9 at the next stage. In an LC parallel resonance circuit 10, since a resonance frequency is set at fD/2, the gain of the transistor 9 becomes the one on which the frequency characteristic having its damping peak at the fD/2 is attached, and a flat frequency characteristic can be obtained extending over the wide frequency range centering the fD/2 by correcting the peak characteristic of the circuit 12.
