To add an information showing calories or nutriments to a recipe information contributed through a communication network and to store it.
The contributed recipe storage method uses a serve which is provided with a calorie database for storing information showing calories corresponding to cooking materials and a recipe database storing the recipe information and which is capable of receiving the recipe information transmitted from a terminal device through the network. The server device receives the recipe information transmitted from one terminal device, obtains information showing the calories of a dish obtained by cooking according to the received recipe information based on information showing the cooking material included in the recipe information and the calorie database, adds the information showing the calories of the dish to the received recipe information and stores it in the recipe database.
