To provide a controller for a nursing lift which a nursing person can operate while supporting a nursed person and in which wrong operation is reduced.
A controller for a nursing lift 21 comprises a grip portion 23 in which an operating switch 31 operating the ascent and descent of a nursed person is placed and a folded portion 24 which is continuously placed in the upper part of the grip portion 23 and which is engaged with a hand gripping the grip portion 23 from the upper side. In the grip portion 23, a safety switch 41 is placed which permits operation of the nursing lift by the operating switch 31 only while pressing it. This safety switch 41 is placed at a position opposite to the inside of the folded portion 24 of the grip portion 23. In the upper part of the grip portion 23, an inclined-face 25 inclined to the side of the folded portion 24 is formed and in the operating switch 31, the inclined-face 25 is placed. In addition, the operating switch 31 is so placed as not to project from the outside of the grip portion 23.
