Abstract:

To provide a control apparatus for a hybrid drive device, the apparatus which is capable of extending a region of EV travel mode, and thereby improving fuel economy.

In the control apparatus 100 for the hybrid drive device 1, an engine start control means 105 starts an engine 9 by increasing the rotation speed of the engine 9 while performing engagement control of a clutch 4 when the mode is changed from an EV travel mode to an engine travel mode, and a starting-time upshift control means 107 performs upshift speed change of a speed change ratio of a transmission mechanism 3 in conformity with the rotation rise of the engine 9 to generate inertial torque Ti by the transmission mechanism 3. A mode selection means 106 selecting the EV travel mode and the engine travel mode extends a region of selecting the EV travel mode in response to the speed change ratio of the transmission mechanism 3 and the rotational speed of an input shaft 6, i.e., the inertial torque Ti generated during the engine start. Accordingly, the range of engine travel mode is reduced to improve fuel economy.
