To provide a control apparatus for industrial purpose robot which needs no provision separately of a specific display part for displaying data on a robot control side, by allowing a user to easily switch data desired to be displayed by instruction data and by allowing the user to display the data on the robot control side, desired to be displayed by changing a sequence program by the user.
A control apparatus for industrial purpose robot 10 comprises a storage part 22 for storing both of the instruction program 24a and a sequence program 44a, input and output devices 26 and 46 for controlling inputs and outputs, CPUs 21 and 41 for accessing and computing data, a DP-RAM (dual port random access memory) 28 for storing data needed by the CPUs 21 and 41, and a display part 47 for displaying either of above data.
