PURPOSE: To provide a control apparatus for controlling the difference in share voltage or share current, caused by the variation in turn-off time, tail current, snubber capacitor capacity, etc., of semiconductor devices for each power by automatically adjusting a delay amount of an off-gate signal.
CONSTITUTION: In a power converter comprising arms to which a plurality of semiconductor devices for power are connected in series or in parallel, reference elements are installed to each arm, and the difference in share voltage or share current between the reference elements and other elements in the arms or the quantity of electricity equivalent to the difference in share voltage or share current is detected, and means for automatically adjusting a delay amount of an off-gate signal is installed so that the difference in share voltage or share current is almost zero.
