CONSTITUTION: The resin amt. profile control apparatus of a resin coating machine has a resin supply device 28 supplying a resin in the width direction of a web and an opening degree control device 10 regulating the opening degree of a lip. A taking-up radius detector 24 detecting the taking-up diameters at a plurality of places in the taking-up width direction of resin coated paper and a resin amt. detector 16 detecting the resin amts. at the plurality of places in the width direction of the resin coated paper are provided. A control means multiplying the differential taking-up radius being the difference between a taking-up radius and a taking-up radius set valve by a resin control constant to add a resin amt. set value to set a resin amt. objective value and controlling the opening degree control device in a direction allowing the resin amt. of the resin coated paper to concide is provided.
