Abstract:
To enable a user to take suitable measures such as evacuation traveling under a circumstance where some kind of irregularities are expected in vehicle-mounted devices including a starter drive circuit or an air conditioner during the process of automatic stop of an engine.
When the process of automatic stop of the engine 10 is in progress in a vehicle that carries out an idling stop control (IS control in decelerating) that allows automatic stop of the engine 10 even if the vehicle is in a running state, the engine 10 is forced to resume when it is decided that there are irregularities in ISS-ECU 68 or the drive circuit of a starter 56, or the like, and also decided that the vehicle is in a running state.
