Abstract:
To improve the aero-dynamic performance of column-forming vehicles as a whole in a case where the vehicles travel in a column.SOLUTION: A control apparatus 3, for use in controlling a direction of a spoiler 2 disposed on a vehicle S that travels in track of one preceding vehicle of plural vehicles S that travel in a column, includes: a determination part 311 for determining whether another vehicle S included in the column travels behind; and a direction control part 312 for setting an orientation of the spoiler 2 at a first direction in a case where the determination part 311 determines that the other vehicle S travels behind, and setting an orientation of the spoiler 2 at a second direction that is closer to a rear surface of the vehicle S than the first direction in a case where the determination part 311 determines that the other vehicle S does not travel behind.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
