To provide a control apparatus forming images such as a facsimile apparatus, a copying machine, a printer or the like in which elements necessary for constituting a protecting circuit for protecting a plurality of electrical parts of various characteristic values are reduced as much as possible, and which is constituted at low costs.

The apparatus has a parallel connection circuit in which a plurality of series circuits each consisting of an electrical part 101-103 and a switch means 104-106 controlled to be turned on/off are connected in parallel, and a protecting means 110 connected in series to the parallel connection circuit and turned off in a preliminarily set constant time after any of the electrical parts is driven. One protecting means 110 automatically protects after a time when an operation has been finished after any of the plurality of electrical parts was driven.
