Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an inner cable from coming into direct contact with an outer tube or its cap for mounting, when a control cable in which a liner is interposed between the outer tube and the inner cable is curved.
SOLUTION: A free end 23a of the liner 23 is extended to an outside of an outer end in an axial direction of an inner surface of the cap 23 for mounting made of metal. The cap 23 for mounting faces the inner cable 22 formed of metal stranded wire stored to be slidable inside the outer tube 21. The outer tube 21 is formed by helically winding steel wire. Accordingly, even when the liner 23 is drawn into the outer tube 21 at curving the control cable 5, the inner surface of the cap 24 for mounting and an inner surface of the metallic outer tube 21 are not exposed from the liner 23, whereby the inner cable 22 is prevented from coming into direct contact with the cap 24 for mounting and the outer tube 21, to prevent increase of sliding resistance.
