Abstract:
To provide a method and an apparatus having control channel monitoring capabilities for low latency communications.SOLUTION: In a wireless communication system 200 including user equipment (UE) 115a indicating different physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring capabilities (such as UE capabilities in terms of the number of control channel elements (CCE), the number of blind decodes (BD), the number of downlink control information (DCI) formats, etc.) per monitoring span or slot, the UE supports a different number of CCEs per slot or a different number of DCIs per monitoring span for different service types (such as a different number of CCEs for eMBB or URLLC). The UE indicates different sets of PDCCH monitoring capabilities (such as sets of PDCCH monitoring capabilities for different service types, monitoring spans, slots, etc.). A base station 105a receives an instruction of PDCCH monitoring capability information, and configures the UE with one or more monitoring occasions accordingly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
