Title:
CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR DC MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3525037
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control circuit for a DC motor, capable of downsizing the control circuit by reducing the current capacity of a semiconductor element for a conducting control.
SOLUTION: A control circuit, which controls DC motors including motor- powered golf carts and motor-powered transporting vehicles, is made up for a motor 1 having two pair of brushes, a switching circuit 2 such as an FET, an acceleration potentiometer 3 which generates voltage corresponding to the position of an accelerator pedal, a comparator 4 which compares this voltage with a reference voltage, a relay 5 to be controlled in compliance with this comparison result, a subtraction 6 which subtracts the reference voltage, and a PWM control circuit 7 which controls the switching circuit 2, based on the duty ratio corresponding to this output voltage. Then, a pair of brushes 8 are controlled by the PWM, when the voltage of the acceleration potentiometer 3 is in a range of less than the reference voltage of 1.5 V. In a range from 1.5 V to 3 V, further, remaining pair of brushes 9 are conducted along with the PWM control of the pair of the brushes 8.
