Title:
CONTROL CIRCUIT MEANS FOR AFTER-CONTROL OF CONTROL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3670669
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To switch off from the supply voltage without using a relay so as to reduce cost by terminating an after-control after the opening of an ignition switch by regulating the potential at the control input of a voltage regulator.
CONSTITUTION: When the connection between a battery BA and a resistor R1 is interrupted by an ignition switch ZS, the On input side of a voltage regulator IC1 is continuously controlled by using the charge stored by a condenser C1 until the condenser C1 is discharged by the input voltage applied to the input side On of the voltage regulator IC1. During the time interval when the input side On of the voltage regulator IC1 is controlled, the voltage regulator supplies the supply voltage UVCC in a control system. After the potential of the input side On of the voltage regulator IC1 becomes lower, the voltage UVCC is not supplied immediately and the control system is shut off. Thus, the connection time of the after-control corresponds to the time needed until the condenser C1 is discharged. In this way, it is not necessary to use the expensive relay.
