Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance transient response by combining a correction signal, obtained by amplifying the inverted output from a soft start circuit, with a current command signal and sustaining a steady level in the soft start circuit after steady state is reached thereby suppressing regenerative operation at the time of starting and allowing regenerative operation under steady state.
CONSTITUTION: An inverted amplifier 10 for inverting and amplifying a branch output from a soft start circuit 32 to produce a correction signal IH is provided wherein the gain K is set such that the absolute level of the correction signal IH under steady state will be lower than the absolute level of a current command signal Iap. At the time of starting, the soft start circuit 32 functions to increase the level of voltage command value VCDset gradually thus increasing the difference from a detected output voltage VDCdet gradually and producing the current command signal Iap. The current command signal Iap is corrected by the correction signal IH and used for suppression of regenerative operation. When the output voltage is settled at a steady level, the correction signal IH is also settled at a constant level and offset state is sustained thus avoiding uncontrolled state upon abrupt fluctuation of output.
