Title:
CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07336891
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To inhibit low-frequency components, and to compensate a flicker positively by extracting and removing the low-frequency components related to no flicker in the positive-phase current component and negative-phase current component of load currents and compensating only variation components related to the flicker.

CONSTITUTION: The positive-phase dq axis current components iLPd1, iLPq1 of load currents output from an αβ/positive-phase dq converter 12 as a second converter pass through low-pass filters 61d, 61q, thus extracting and removing low-frequency components iLPd2, iLPq2 related to no flicker. These low-frequency components iLPd2, iLPq2 are input to adders 62d, 62q, and subtracted from the original positive-phase dq axis current components iLPd1, iLPq1 respectively thus acquiring the positive-phase dq axis current command values iPd*, iPq* of a reactive power compensator input to a positive-phase dq/αβ coordinate converter 15 as a third converter. Accordingly, the low-frequency components iLPd2, iLPq2 can be inhibited, thus positively compensating the flicker.
