PURPOSE: To shorten operating time by automatizing all regulating operation by a method wherein some adjustment data are read from the regulation data of a computer to be sent as a control signal, and any one of paper tension, heat quantity, clearance, forcing pressure, sucking pressure, and water injection amount is regulated at each regulation part.
CONSTITUTION: When an adjustment data stored in a subcomputer 120 is read by a signal from a host computer, a control signal corresponding to the regulation data is sent to a driving part of each adjustment part via a controller 121. For instance, brake pressure is regulated with disk brake driving parts 122, 122' based on the control signal from the controller 121. As the brake pressure, pressure which becomes within an optimum range in which tension acting on a corrugating medium CP and a liner raw paper LP to be sent at an operation speed of a signal phaser manufacturing a single faced corrugated board is determined by information related to the quality of paper, basis weight, class of a stepped state, and paper width is selected. Pressure is increased and decreased according to a roll diameter of paper so that the tension becomes a constant value within said range and is regulated.
