Abstract:

PURPOSE: To sufficiently ensure a charging quantity to a storage battery by varying a target torque ratio to the direction of increasing engine speed at the time of detecting that the rate lower than the defined value of a battery voltage is larger than a set value.

CONSTITUTION: As a battery voltage lowering calculating means 215 calculates that a lower ratio than a defined value during a defined time is larger than a defined value from the signal of a battery voltage detecting means 145, based on this signal, a torque ratio varying means 122 varies the target torque ratio of a setting means 121 in the direction of increasing engine speed in accordance with the lowered rate of the battery voltage, and a continuously variable transmission is controlled by a speed change operating means 100. In this case, a torque ratio varying limit setting means 142 restricts the increase of torque ratio above the maximum defined torque which is determined by a traveling condition to prevent an abnormal shift down. Also, in accordance with the lowered rate of the battery voltage, an operating speed is lowered by a speed change operating speed setting means 125 to reduce a battery load. Thereby, a battery charging quantity can be sufficiently ensured.
