Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a printing time for printing an image that includes a first image and a second time from being extended, as compared with the case of printing an arrangement image in which the second image is arranged irrespective of the first image.SOLUTION: The control device of a printing execution unit comprises: a first determination unit for determining, about multiple sessions of partial printing to print a first image, a plurality of head positions which respectively are relative positions in the direction of conveyance of printing heads for the first image; and a second determination unit for determining, on the basis of the plurality of head positions, the relative position of a second image for the first image, which, when partial printing to print the second image needs to be added to the multiple sessions of partial printing to print the first image, determines the relative position of the second image so as to minimize the sessions of the partial printing to be added.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
