Abstract:
To provide a control device for a continuously variable transmission improving start performance of a vehicle.
A gear ratio control unit 12 is provided to set a target gear ratio on the basis of an operating condition of the vehicle, control a drive amount of a step motor 27 such that an actual gear ratio converges to the target gear ratio, and control the gear ratio by controlling the drive amount of the step motor 27 such that a predetermined gear ratio is maintained when deceleration of the vehicle exceeds a predetermined threshold. The gear ratio control unit 12 determines the predetermined threshold on the basis of the actual gear ratio upon detection of an operation of a brake.
