Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of inferiority in fuel injection amount control even when viscosity of fuel changes.
SOLUTION: In an injection pump, a control sleeve position is adjusted in accordance with a drive amount given to an actuator 61. A target injection amount matching relating to reference fuel is calculated in a calculating means 62, a reference pump characteristic matching relating to the reference fuel is stored in a memory means 63, and this reference pump characteristic is used, so as to convert the target injection amount into the actuator drive amount in a conversion means 64. Here, viscosity of fuel is detected by a detection means 65, when a detection value of this fuel viscosity is different from viscosity of the reference fuel, the actuator drive amount is corrected in a correction means 66 in accordance with the detection value of fuel viscosity, and this corrected drive amount is output to the actuator 61 in an output means 67.
