PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure opening/closing operation of a drain valve, further simplify a mechanism, greatly reducing impact noise in closing a drain valve and achieve a low cost.
SOLUTION: An opening/closing control device for a drain valve includes a valve opening/closing operation part 10 rotated by receiving the rotating force of an output shaft 9, to which the rotating force of a drain valve opening/ closing driving source 1 is transmitted, for outputting linear reciprocating motion to open/close a drain valve, and a one-way clutch mechanism for transmitting the rotating force of the output shaft 9 to the valve opening/closing operation part 10 in disconnectable manner. The valve opening/closing operation part 10 is rotated in one way with the rotating force of the output shaft 9 transmitted via a one-way clutch for operating the drain valve into a fully open condition at a position of rotation at a preset angle, resuming rotation with the rotation of the output shaft 9 when operating the drain valve from the condition into a fully closed condition and cancelling the transmission of rotating force from the output shaft 9 via the one-way clutch when it reaches a preset position of rotation, so that it is rotated with resetting force of the drain valve into a fully closed condition to keep the drain valve in a fully closed condition.
