To inhibit generation of torque shock caused by fluctuation of engine torque in change over of used fuel of a dual fuel engine in a hybrid vehicle provided with a dual fuel engine.
The hybrid vehicle 1 is provided with a dual fuel engine 11, a high voltage battery 12, a generator 13, and a motor 14. A control device 3 of the engine is provided with PCM 31. The PCM 31 inhibit generation of torque shock caused by fluctuation of engine torque in change over by controlling assist torque of a motor 14 and power generation quantity of a generator 13 in change over of the used fuel of the engine 11. The PCM 31 inhibits change over of the used fuel when it is estimated that generation of torque shock can not be inhibited by the motor 14 and the generator 13 in change over of the used fuel.
