Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an EGR gas cooling system capable of suppressing degradation of performance caused by deposit of the EGR gas cooling system having a plurality of ceramic heat exchangers.SOLUTION: A control device (10) of an EGR gas cooling system includes a first control portion (11) executing heat exchanger number reduction control for controlling a selecting mechanism to reduce the number of ceramic heat exchangers through which an EGR gas passes, in comparison with a case when front-back pressure difference as pressure difference between a pressure at an upstream side with respect to the EGR gas cooling system and a pressure at a downstream side with respect to the EGR gas cooling system is a prescribed value or less, when the front-back pressure difference is more than the prescribed value, and a second control portion (11) executing heat exchanger switching control for controlling the selecting mechanism so that the EGR gas is allowed to pass through the heat exchangers through which the EGR gas does not pass due to the execution of the heat exchanger number reduction control, when a condensate water is generated in the heat exchanger through which the EGR gas does not pass due to the execution of the heat exchanger number reduction control.
