Abstract:
To provide a control device of an electric parking brake for a commercial car, capable of securing a prescribed motor life, while suppressing cost.SOLUTION: A control device of an electric parking brake has torque changeover parts 33a, 33b for switching prescribed torque generated from a motor 26 into first torque α and second torque β. The first torque α is set as a torque value required to the motor, when loading on a vehicle agrees with an upper loading limit, and the vehicle is stopped on a road surface having a prescribed gradient, and the second torque β is set as a torque value smaller than the first torque α, and enabling the motor to attain a prescribed lifetime.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
