Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for electromagnetic clutch improved in the reliability by avoiding the wrong engagement of the electromagnetic clutch.
SOLUTION: In relation to the changeover control of a transistor capable of switching an electromagnetic clutch coil for electrical continuity or non- continuity, a control circuit is structured so that the signal from a second controller is inputted through a control signal line 30 in addition to the output signal from a first controller main body and that the transistor is switched to a condition allowing to carry a current to the coil when both the signals generate a command for engaging the clutch. This control circuit is desirably used for the control of an electromagnetic clutch 7 for hybrid vehicle, and even when traveling forward at a D range, and even if the wrong operation of the clutch controller is generated, the wrong engagement can be previously avoided, and the clutch is appropriately controlled so as to secure the effectiveness, characteristic and advantages by a hybrid system.
