This control device of the elevator has the door movable in an opening plane of a casing body 5 installed on an elevator hoistway wall 1 and opening-closing an opening, an engaging projection member arranged in one of the casing body and the door, and an engaging groove member arranged in the other of the casing body and the door, engaging with the engaging projection member and relatively guiding the engaging projection member in the horizontal direction in the opening plane, and can open and close the opening by sliding the door in the horizontal direction in the opening plane. Thus, uselessness of a space in the hoistway is eliminated.
