Abstract:

To properly control a supercharge pressure to effectively improve fuel consumption without degrading emission even in transient operation of an engine.

This control device has a first target supercharge pressure setting means 47 setting a target supercharge pressure in steady operation and a second target supercharge pressure setting means 49 setting a target supercharge pressure in transient operation, corresponding to an operation state of an engine; target supercharge efficiency setting means 48, 50 setting target supercharge efficiency, an operation state decision means 51 deciding whether the engine is in a transient operation state or in a steady operation state, and a supercharge pressure control means 43 executing feedback control of a supercharge pressure on the basis of the target supercharge pressure and the target supercharge efficiency when the operation state decision means 51 decides that the engine is in the transient operation state.
