Abstract:

To provide a control device for an engine capable of surely and stably injecting and supplying a predetermined quantity of fuel even in a high speed rotation zone.

The engine is provided with an air fuel mixture forming device and a fuel injection control means controlling fuel injection quantity by a fuel injection valve. The fuel injection control means calculates injection time Ta corresponding to intake air quantity for one engine rotation every one engine rotation and sets injection start timing to complete fuel injection at roughly actual intake completion timing Cc passing by top dead center on which air inertia is interrupted in a low-middle rotation speed zone in which engine rotation speed is less than predetermined value Na. The fuel injection control means calculates injection time Tb corresponding to intake air quantity for two engine rotations every two engine rotations and sets injection start timing and injection completion timing to make time Tu from injection start timing to roughly actual intake completion timing Tu and time Tv from roughly actual intake completion timing Tu to injection completion timing Cc roughly same in a high rotation speed zone in which engine rotation speed is not less than predetermined value Na.
