Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an engine for executing output reduction control when an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal are stepped on at the same time, while appropriately restricting the output reduction control when there is an abnormality of a brake liquid pressure sensor.SOLUTION: A PCM 50 as a control device for an engine executes output reduction control when an accelerator pedal 104 and a brake pedal 102 are both stepped on at the same time. Especially, the PCM 50 executes the output reduction control at the time of a normality of a brake liquid pressure sensor 154 when the accelerator pedal 104 and the brake pedal 102 are both stepped on, independently of the step-on order, and restricts a reduction of the engine output by the output reduction control at the time of an abnormality of the brake liquid pressure sensor 154 when the brake pedal 102 is stepped on and then the accelerator pedal 104 is stepped on to establish the state that the accelerator pedal 104 and the brake pedal 102 are both stepped on.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
