Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an engine capable of accurately controlling a lifting amount of a valve by suppressing hydraulic pulsation in implementing control to retard a valve opening timing of a valve.SOLUTION: A control device of an engine controls opening/closing of a valve of the engine by a hydraulic-type variable valve mechanism 72 having a cam 72d, a pressure chamber 72c in which an engine oil is charged and an oil pressure of the engine oil is changed by motion of the cam 72d, and a hydraulic valve 72b connected to the pressure chamber 72c and controlling the oil pressure acting on an intake valve by being opened and closed. The hydraulic type variable valve mechanism 72 controls the hydraulic valve 72b so that a valve opening timing of the valve is retarded according to an operating stage of the engine, and further a mechanical variable valve mechanism 74 is disposed to control the opening/closing of the valve when the valve opening timing of the valve according to the operating state of the engine is retarded with respect to prescribed timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
