Abstract:
To provide a control device for an engine capable of suppressing a generation amount of NOx while securing startability at restart of an engine.SOLUTION: Oxygen concentration adjustment control for adjusting an opening degree of a throttle valve and an opening degree of an EGR valve so that oxygen concentration in an intake passage downstream of a connection part becomes a predetermined target value that is lower than oxygen concentration in the atmosphere is executed from execution of fuel cut to stop of rotation of an output shaft. After execution of the oxygen concentration adjustment control, the throttle valve is maintained in a fully closed state, and after a restarting condition is satisfied, the throttle valve is opened. From stop of the rotation of the output shaft until the throttle valve is opened, the opening degree of the EGR valve is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
