To improve the reliability of electronic control by reducing easily and surely the influence of noises in the relation of the electronic control of an engine.
The control device of an engine comprises an engine control unit(ECU) 60 for electronically controlling the engine 10, an injector driving unit(EDU) 40a for drivingly controlling an injector 40, various kinds of sensors, a controllable wire harness 70 for connecting the ECU 60 and the sensors to each other, an injector wire harness 40b for connecting the EDU 40a and the injector 40 to each other, a battery, and the like. Both the ECU 60 and the EDU 40a are provided in an engine room, and the EDU 40a is provided on a position opposed to the ECU 60 holding the engine 10 and is provided in close vicinity to the battery. Both the wire harnesses 40b, 70 are provided separately from each other so as to prevent intersection holding an intake manifold 30a and a surge tank 30b which have earthing potential.
