Title:
CONTROL DEVICE FOR FOUR WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3473432
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a four wheel drive vehicle, which will never be short of the quantity of energy to be stored in an energy storing device for driving a secondary prime mover.
SOLUTION: When it is determined by a remaining quantity judging means 80 that the remaining electrical energy for driving a secondary prime mover MG 28 to be stored in a capacitor 48, is not much more than a specified judging value SOC0, namely, is less than the judging value SOC0, running energy at the time of non-deceleration running is recovered by the MG 28 so as to be stored in the capacitor 48, that is, so as to be charged by means of an energy charging control means 82. As long as the remaining charged electrical energy SOC stored in the capacitor 48 is less than the judging value SOC0, even if a vehicle is in an acceleration running condition other than a non-deceleration running condition, the capacitor 48 is quickly charged so as to be full of energy until the remaining charged electrical energy SOC will be much more than the judging value SOC0, the remaining charged energy of the capacitor 48 is thereby prevented appropriately from being short of energy at the next assist driving of the MG 28.
