Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of the captioned equipment, by detecting the right-and-left deviation of a plunger and controlling the discharge of a booster pump in correspondence to the amount of deviation thus detected. CONSTITUTION:Discharge pipe passages 39 and 40 for high pressure pumps 35 and 36 are connected to primary liquid chambers 9 and 10 of a booster 1, while displacement sensors 33 and 34, which detect the deviation of a plunger 6, are installed to a large-diameter cylinder part 3. According to the outputs from these displacement sensors 33 and 34, the discharge of either one of the high pressure pumps 35 and 36 is increased, while the discharge of the rest of the high pressure pumps 35 and 36 is decreased. With this contrivance, when the position of the plunger 6 is deviated toward the right or left side from its mid-position because of fluctuation in the charge from both high pressure pumps 35 and 36, the deviation of the plunger 6 can be corrected. Therefore, an escape of the primary liquid from a stroke limiter of the booster 1 can be eliminated, thereby enhancing the efficiency.
