A control device for a hull includes a means for acquiring target position information and target bow azimuth information of the hull in a state of stopping the hull by disengaging a clutch, a means for acquiring present position information of the hull, a means for acquiring present bow azimuth information of the hull, and a means for acquiring the shortest distance between a target position and a present hull position, and includes a first hull control means which has a first thruster control means for controlling a thruster so that a present bow azimuth always coincides with a target bow azimuth, a first clutch control means for propelling the hull by engaging the clutch when the shortest distance e1 between the target position and the hull reaches a first set distance X9 and stopping the hull by disengaging the clutch when the hull propels by a second set distance X10, and a target position updating means for updating the target position to a position of the hull when the hull propels by the second set distance, and executes the first clutch control means based on the updated target position.
