Abstract:

To efficiently recover regenerative energy without deteriorating drivability at regenerative braking of an electric motor, by a control device for a hybrid electric vehicle.

The control device (26) of the hybrid electric vehicle, if reference regenerative braking torque Tsr computed on the basis of rotation speed of the electric motor (4) and a shift stage S of a transmission (5) is less than maximum regenerative braking torque Tm of the electric motor (4), adds additional regenerative braking torque Tad computed on the basis of a depression amount of a brake pedal (13), the rotation speed of the electric motor (4), and a shift stage S of the transmission (5) to the reference regenerative braking torque Tsr, and thereby computes regenerative braking torque Tr.
