It restrains closing speed of the throttle valve 186 when it is required to control the throttle valve to the closing side and simultaneously increases amount of regeneration by the MG2. Therefore, it can make up capacity lowered amount of engine brake which generates by restraining closing speed of the throttle valve, by increase in the braking power on the wheels by enlarging amount of regeneration by the MG2.
