To provide a control device of a hybrid vehicle which can suppress a load applied to a synchronization mechanism while shortening a speed change time of a transmission.
This control device controls a motor generator 3 in a state that the torque of the motor generator 3 can be transmitted to an input shaft via a switching mechanism 21 so that a rotation speed of the input shaft 10 approximates a target rotation speed at the start of a speed change operation of an AMT 8, controls the switching mechanism 21 so that the transmission of the torque between the motor generator 3 and the input shaft 10 may be blocked when a difference between the rotation speed of the input shaft 10 and the target rotation speed is lowered below a threshold, and after the transmission of the torque is blocked, controls the AMT so that the speed change operation of the AMT 8 may be started.
