Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a 4WD traveling stabilized over a wide range by using an engine and a relatively small-sized electric motor.
SOLUTION: The target drive torque tTf of a front wheel (a motor-driven wheel) is obtained by reducing the target drive torque tTr of a rear wheel (an engine-driven wheel) from the total target drive torque tT. Besides, the upper limit value LTM of the torque of motor is estimated from a motor revolution NM. In the case that the target drive torque tTf of the front wheel exceeds the upper limit value LTM of the torque of motor, the drive torque ΔT corresponding to its deficiency is added to the target drive torque of the rear wheel.
