Abstract:

To efficiently suppress temperature rise of a direct injection valve and increase use ratio of a port injection valve in an internal combustion engine provided with the port injection valve and the direct injection valve.

This control device 10 for the internal combustion engine includes an operation condition determination part 1 determining operation conditions of the internal combustion engine, a direct injection valve temperature determination part 13 comparing temperature at a tip part of the direct injection valve and a limit value of temperature at the tip part of the direct injection valve, and a direct injection timing determination part 14 retarding fuel injection timing of the direct injection valve when temperature at the tip part of the direct injection valve is the limit value or higher in operation of the internal combustion engine in a homogeneous partial load zone.
